Job summary

Bruegger's Enterprises, Inc. in Wallingford, CT is seeking a District Shift Leader to support our bakeries in the market.

You will manage day-to-day operations at a home location and cover other sites as needed, with shifts starting as early as 3am to ensure timely opening and high-quality service. The role is designed as a path to General Manager through a structured development plan, including training in inventory, vendor orders, cash handling, scheduling and recruiting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to work varied hours including early hours and weekends.
• Must pass background check and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries as needed.
• Lead by example, coach teams, and ensure high-quality food and service.
• Learn store administration: inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management.
• Prepare for a permanent GM promotion within the market when available.
