Job summary

Bagel Brands is seeking a District Shift Leader who will participate in a General Manager development plan and be prepared to take on GM responsibilities as opportunities arise. The role includes leading bakery teams, coaching staff, and stepping in for GMs across the market.

The position requires early starts (as early as 3am), willingness to travel within the market, and a commitment to developing leadership skills toward a future GM promotion.

Qualifications

• Expected to fill in for General Managers at other locations within the market.
• Expected to accept a permanent General Manager promotion within the market when available.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to work varied hours/days including early hours and weekends (3am start).
• Must pass background check and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification by the end of the GM development plan, if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and provide ongoing coaching and training for teams.
• Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries as needed.
• Travel within the market to gain independence and learn from other leaders.
• Work early shifts starting as 3am to ensure bakery operations.
