Job summary

Einstein Bros Bagels in Flower Mound, TX is seeking a District Shift Leader who is on a development path to General Manager. You will lead day-to-day operations at a home bakery and support other locations in the market.

Shifts start as early as 3am, you will coach and train teams, ensure high-quality food and service, and keep a safe, clean store environment while representing the brand. The GM development plan includes inventory tracking, vendor orders, cash management, and progressing to P&L

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am).
• Must pass background check and possess a current, valid driver’s license.
• Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan, if a valid certification is not already in possession.

Responsibilities

• District Shift Leaders perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed.
• Lead by example, coach and train teams, ensuring high-quality food and beverages and a safe, clean store environment.
• The GM development plan will include training in restaurant administrative duties such as inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management, and you will learn skills in P&L analysis, food cost, and labor targets.
• Traveling provides the opportunity to gain independence and learn from additional leaders in the area, preparing for a future General Manager role.
