Job summary

Einstein Bros Bagels is seeking a District Shift Leader to participate in a targeted General Manager development plan. The role starts with management duties at a home location and includes opportunities to support other bakeries within the market.

You will lead by example, coach teams, and become a future General Manager in the organization. The position requires early hours (as early as 3am), a high school diploma or equivalent, and a commitment to brand standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience required; able to manage teams and operations.
• Must pass background check and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work varied hours including early hours (as early as 3am) and weekends.
• Complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification by the end of the GM development plan if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts at a home bakery and support other locations in the market.
• Coach and train teams, act as brand ambassador, and ensure high-quality service and safety.
• Oversee inventory tracking, vendor orders, cash handling, and scheduling as part of GM development.
• Pursue permanent GM promotion within the market when available; role may involve travel between locations.
