Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support the Account Manager in supervision, training, and operations at the assigned post. The role emphasizes coordinating security operations, directing security professionals, and maintaining post orders and client expectations.

The position includes onboarding new staff, conducting performance evaluations, and facilitating communication across the security team and client.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in supervisory capacity at middle-management level in a certified law enforcement organization.
• Strong communication and collaboration with agencies, airport users and tenants.
• ACE-Security certification or equivalent within 12 months of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects (technical and managerial) of executing the security contract at the site.
• Supervise, motivate, coach and train security professionals and shift supervisors.
• Maintain and update Post Order manuals and training materials; ensure site cleanliness and organization.
• Conduct interviews and onboard new employees; provide on-the-job training with shift supervisors.
• Oversee incident reporting, logs and communications within the Security Department.
• Manage sub-units (fire control, command center, loading docks) and generate work orders for coverage requests.
• Address client/site emergencies and maintain positive client relationships through regular contact.
• Identify personnel issues and coordinate with Account Manager/HR for counseling or disciplinary actions.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure proper communications across management and client.
• Be prepared to perform security duties up to 50% of time as needed.
