Job summary

Amgen seeks a District Sales Manager to serve multiple territories, acting as the liaison to medical professionals and driving sales initiatives. You will apply clinical knowledge of Amgen products to support physicians and manage district teams to meet or exceed sales targets.

The role requires strong leadership, recruiting and coaching skills, and experience in biotech sales. Flexible work models, including remote/hybrid options, are available where possible.

Qualifications

• Requires Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s, or equivalent qualifications with 2+ years in Sales/Marketing leadership.
• Includes ability to recruit, coach, and manage teams across districts.
• Experience in pharma/biotech sales and knowledge of biologics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track progress of marketing messages and programs.
• Provide feedback to district teams on marketing, resources allocation and spend.
• Manage district teams to maximize performance and achieve sales targets.
• Screen, interview, and hire candidates; ensure training compliance.
