Job summary

Amgen’s District Sales Manager role covers multiple districts across the Northeast and mid-Atlantic regions, driving clinical knowledge sharing with medical professionals. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with District Sales Managers, Regional Directors and Corporate Accounts to advance patient access and product value.

We seek a proven sales leader with 2+ years of managerial experience, strong coaching skills, and a track record in Sales/Marketing.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, or Master’s, or Bachelor’s with Sales/Marketing experience.
• 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people.

Responsibilities

• Track progress of marketing messages and programs.
• Provide feedback to district teams on marketing, allocating, monitoring, and leveraging of internal and external resources.
• Manage district teams to maximize their performance and help achieve/exceed sales and budget targets.
• Screen, interview, and hire candidates.
• Ensure compliance with training.
• Demonstrate the appropriate coaching and counseling to prepare individuals for future development.
• Conduct annual and ongoing performance reviews and competency assessments.
• Coordinate with district and cross-functional teams.
• Share best practices with direct reports and peers.
• Coordinate and participate in cluster teams.
• Conduct district sales meetings to guide districts.
• Develop local Opinion Leader relationships to achieve aligned objectives.
