Job summary

Amgen is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead district sales efforts across specified therapeutic areas. The role focuses on coaching district teams, cross-functional collaboration, and building relationships with key opinion leaders to achieve sales objectives.

The position requires substantial sales/marketing experience with leadership responsibilities; preferred candidates have biotech knowledge and a track record of high performance. Flexible work models are available where possible.

Qualifications

• Doctorate/Master/Bachelor with 6–8+ years in Sales/Marketing; leadership experience required.
• Experience in biologics is preferred.
• Ability to hire, coach, and develop sales teams.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead district sales teams to meet or exceed targets and budgets.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Finance and other business units.
• Screen, interview, and hire sales candidates; coach performance and development.
• Develop local relationships with Opinion Leaders to achieve objectives.
• Coordinate district sales meetings and share best practices.
