Job summary

Amgen is seeking a District Sales Manager to act as the liaison between medical professionals and the company, delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen medicines. You will lead district teams, drive sales targets, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to support patient outcomes and business goals.

The role requires 2 years of managerial experience and 3+ years in sales/marketing, with preferences for biologics and buy-and-bill experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people or leading teams, projects, or programs.
• 3+ years of specialty sales experience preferred.
• Experience in biologics and buy-and-bill models is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and serve as liaison to customers.
• Lead district teams to achieve sales and budget targets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and other BUs.
• Recruit, develop, and coach district staff for performance and career growth.
• Conduct district sales meetings and build local Opinion Leader relationships.
