Job summary

Amgen is seeking a District Sales Manager to serve patients by delivering clinical product knowledge to healthcare professionals across our Toledo, Akron, Canton, Lorain, and Youngstown districts. This role partners with district and cross-functional teams to drive sales, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliant programs.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications mirror the job's stated combinations across Doctorate/Master/Bachelor/Associate/High school with 2 years of Sales/Marketing experience.
• AND 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leading teams, projects, or directing resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with district teams and other business units.
• Manage district teams to meet or exceed sales and budget targets.
• Screen, interview, and hire candidates for district roles.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Finance to align district objectives.
• Develop local Opinion Leader relationships to support territory goals.
