Job summary

Airgas is hiring a District Sales Manager in Shreveport, LA to lead Account Managers in outside sales growth and strategic account management. This role focuses on proactive lead generation, coaching, and expanding the regional footprint in collaboration with the Region’s Sales team.

Ideal candidates will guide AMs to hit targets, manage territories, analyze market trends, and mentor teams in the company’s sales methodology. Benefits and a strong development path are offered.

Qualifications

• Understand P&L statements, margins, and data-driven decisions.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to analyze, report, and present sales data.
• Proven partnership-building and selling capabilities.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Guide and coach Account Managers to meet new business targets.
• Set territories and quotas; analyze market trends and forecasts.
• Spend substantial time in the field coaching sales activities.
• Mentor AMs in core sales methodology and revenue opportunities.
• Conduct monthly reviews to optimize territory growth.
• Grow and protect a portfolio of regional accounts with strong customer experience.
• Work with Executives to align regional sales strategies and pricing targets.
• Identify expansion opportunities and operational efficiencies in existing accounts.
