Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking a District Sales Manager in Memphis, TN to lead outside sales growth and mentor Account Managers. You will define territories, drive new business, expand existing accounts, and partner with Account Executives to execute strategic sales initiatives.

The role emphasizes coaching, pipeline management, and achieving regional targets while delivering excellent customer experiences across the Memphis market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years B2B sales experience preferred.
• Experience leading and mentoring sales teams.
• Track record of year-over-year sales growth.
• Experience coaching enterprise sales methodologies (consultative selling).
• Ability to recruit, onboard and develop sales professionals.

Responsibilities

• Drive outside sales growth and guide Account Managers in field execution.
• Lead proactive lead generation and account expansion.
• Coach and mentor Account Managers in core sales methodology.
• Plan and monitor territory growth, quotas, and pricing strategies.
• Conduct monthly reviews to measure performance and develop territory plans.
• Maintain a portfolio of key regional accounts with high retention and strong customer experience.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to align regional sales strategies.
