Job summary

Airgas is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead Account Managers, drive outside sales growth, and execute strategic sales initiatives in Kansas. The role emphasizes coaching, training, and expanding the regional footprint while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The position targets revenue growth through proactive lead generation, territory planning, and collaboration with the Region's Sales team to ensure AMs are trained and supported for ongoing expansion.

Qualifications

• Requires strong financial and analytical acumen with ability to interpret P&L statements.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, report, and present sales data effectively.
• Proven partnership-building and selling skills.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support overall sales performance and pipeline health to ensure AM targets are met.
• Establish territories and quotas while analyzing market trends and forecasts to optimize penetration.
• Maintain time in the field coaching AMs on sales activities and opportunities.
