Airgas, Inc. is seeking a District Sales Manager in Shreveport, LA to drive outside sales growth and lead Account Managers in expanding our regional footprint.

The role emphasizes proactive lead generation, field coaching, and strategic account management, with strong emphasis on customer retention and margin optimization. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in B2B sales leadership, expertise in forecasting, and a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Effective financial and analytical acumen with ability to interpret P&L statements and analyze territory margins.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, report, and present financial and sales data effectively.
• Effective partnership-building and selling skills.
• A valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Guide and manage outside sales growth and Account Manager field execution.
• Establish territories, quotas, and analyze market trends to optimize market penetration.
• Coach Account Managers in sales activities and collaborative selling to identify new opportunities.
• Train and mentor Account Managers in core sales methodology and expanding revenue within accounts.
• Conduct monthly reviews to measure performance against targets and develop territory growth plans.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of regional accounts with high customer satisfaction.
• Align with Account Executives on regional sales strategies and training.
