Job summary

Airgas is hiring a District Manager to lead multiple branches within the district, ensuring safety, growth, and operational excellence. You will manage branch personnel, drive top-line performance, and be responsible for P&L outcomes across the territory.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction while delivering value to Airgas and its stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (ideally 5+ years in a relevant field).
• Demonstrated history of advancing sustainable sales success and profitable growth.
• Proven history of increasing responsibility in a B2B sales-related or sales operations position.
• Proactive leadership with a record of mentoring teams for at least 3 years.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with focus on alignment and organization.
• Comfortable with Microsoft solutions, especially Excel and Word, and experienced in data entry and order extraction.
• Numerical proficiency for practical business applications and analytical reporting.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and motivate all Branch, Administrative, Operating, and Sales associates within the District.
• Achieve safety standards, top-line growth, EBITDA, and operational excellence.
• Execute plans and strategies to meet customer needs with full P&L responsibility.
• Develop and manage the sales force for organic top-line growth; oversee key accounts as needed.
• Maintain inventory and assets to ensure fast market access and high fulfillment.
