Job summary

Airgas is hiring for a District Sales Manager in Arkansas. You will lead outside sales efforts, coach Account Managers to win new business and expand existing accounts across multiple AR retail locations.

The role focuses on territory planning, achieving targets, and collaborating with the regional sales team to optimize margins and customer satisfaction. A strong track record in B2B sales and leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret P&L statements and margins.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience reporting and presenting sales data.
• Strong partnership-building and selling skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Direct the overall sales performance and pipeline health for the district.
• Establish territories and quotas; analyze market trends and forecasts.
• Spend substantial time in the field coaching Account Managers.
• Train and direct AMs in core sales methodology; identify opportunities.
• Conduct monthly reviews; plan for maximum territory growth.
• Maintain and grow portfolio of regional accounts; ensure retention.
• Align with Account Executives on regional sales strategies and training.
• Identify expansion opportunities and operational efficiencies within accounts.
