Job summary

Majik Rent To Own is seeking a District Manager to lead multiple stores toward profitability and strong customer service. You will set goals, mentor Store Managers, and ensure plans are in place to hit targets across your district.

You will visit stores regularly, review results against budgets, coach leaders, and drive staffing, scheduling, inventory, and loss prevention. The role requires travel between stores and a strong focus on accountability, coaching, and scalable processes to sustain

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-unit retail management experience, or 5+ years as a Store Manager.
• Proven record of hitting sales, profit, and collections or account-retention goals.
• Experience in hiring, coaching, evaluating, and documenting performance for managers or supervisors.
• Strong working knowledge of P&L statements, budgets, payroll, and inventory controls.

Responsibilities

• Own district results, including net profit, customers versus budget, weekly expected versus budget, percentage of rent collected, COGS, and payroll.
• Review each store's results against budget, separate short-term swings from real trends, and set store-specific actions to close gaps.
• Visit stores on an established rotation, prioritized by need and risk.
• Coach the Store Manager in real time and leave every visit with no more than three priority actions, each with an owner and due date.
• Ensure Store Managers maintain inventory accuracy, appropriate merchandise presentation, and timely refurbishment of returned merchandise.
