Job summary

Discovery Education is seeking a Manager, District Partnerships in Charlotte, NC. You will lead a team of District Partnership Managers, own select district relationships, and drive renewal, expansion, and long‑term value across districts.

You will guide strategy, forecast, and CRM usage while coaching the team through complex customer scenarios and high‑stakes conversations. Hybrid/remote role with cross‑functional collaboration across K‑12 teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 4+ years in account management, district partnerships, customer success, or education sales.
• Experience managing renewals and expansions within a portfolio model.
• Familiarity with K-12 district decision-making structures.
• Experience building or improving team processes, training, or playbooks preferred.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage account health and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and coach a team of District Partnership Managers with performance management and career development.
• Translate strategy into monthly priorities, tactics, and expectations for the team.
• Serve as SME for complex district scenarios and system usage; onboard and enable the team.
• Own and grow a limited portfolio of strategic district relationships across the lifecycle.
• Lead renewal and retention strategies; align with cross-functional teams for growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Finance to shape joint opportunities and experiences.
