Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years retail management experience; multi-unit experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent communication skills; self-directed and customer service oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Ability to communicate in English; able to supervise and train Store Managers.

Responsibilities

• Maximizes store sales by directing and assisting Store Manager with merchandising programs and promotions.
• Manages controllable costs including salaries, overtime, cash handling, and maintenance.
• Forecasts requirements, prepares budgets, schedules expenditures, analyzes variances and takes corrective action.
• Evaluates vendor performance and develops partnerships to meet expectations.
• Provides leadership to store managers and assists with recruitment, selection and training.
• Maintains a safe, compliant work environment and enforces safety practices.
