Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking motivated individuals for its District Manager Trainee (DMT) program in the Washington, DC area. Over a 44-week training period, you’ll gain hands-on experience to oversee multiple ALDI stores and drive customer service, staffing, and sales growth.

Starting salary is $95,000 with a $5,000 signing bonus and increases to $110,000, $120,000, and $130,000 in later years. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and clear advancement within a market-leading retailer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• Ability to travel domestically daily.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities to store management and leads the store management team.
• Develops and supervises the district-manager team to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
• Recruits, selects, promotes staff, and staffs locations within the district.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversees staffing, training, and development across stores in the district.
• Monitors performance and provides coaching to staff.
• Partners with store managers to resolve customer and employee concerns.
