Job summary

ALDI is seeking motivated individuals for the District Manager Trainee (DMT) program. Over a 44-week training period you will gain hands-on experience preparing to oversee multiple stores within the Frederick area, working with store managers to ensure exceptional service and drive sales growth.

This full-time program covers operations, leadership, staffing and compliance, with a starting salary of $95,000 plus a $5,000 signing bonus and staged increases in years 2–4.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field is required.
• Ability to develop rapport and open communication with team members.
• Experience leading store management teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and develop store management to achieve sales and service goals.
• Recruit, select, promote and staff district locations.
• Coach direct reports to maximize professional potential.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations across the district.
• Plan and conduct district meetings and training sessions.
• Oversee achievement of KPIs and budget targets.
