Job summary

ALDI is seeking District Manager Trainee (DMT) candidates for a comprehensive 44-week training program. You will gain hands-on experience preparing to oversee multiple ALDI stores and work closely with store managers to ensure exceptional customer service, strong team environments, and district-level sales growth.

Starting salary is $95,000 with a $5,000 signing bonus and planned increases to $110,000, $120,000, and $130,000 over four years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills essential.
• Ability to develop plans and mentor staff; manage performance.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to store management; leads and develops store management.
• Leads and supervises the store manager team to drive sales and service excellence.
• Fosters a positive work environment and teamwork across direct reports.
• Develops action plans to improve operating results using company resources.
• Staffing: recruit, select and staff district locations as needed.
• Coach and provide feedback to direct reports; address escalated concerns.
