Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking motivated individuals for the District Manager Trainee (DMT) program in the Frederick area. The 44-week intensive training leads to district-wide store supervision, with a focus on customer service, employee environment, and operational excellence.

Starting salary is $95,000 with a $5,000 signing bonus, and salary increases to $110k/120k/130k by Year 2–4. Domestic travel is daily, company car provided, and extensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• Ability to develop rapport and trust with direct reports.
• Strong group facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Excellent problem solving and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of financial performance evaluation and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to store management to ensure results.
• Leads and develops store management to drive sales and high performance.
• Fosters positive working environment and teamwork within the district.
• Develops and implements action plans to improve operations.
• Oversees staffing and staffing decisions across stores in the district.
• Trains and develops direct reports to reach professional potential.
• Observes performance and provides feedback and coaching.
• Oversees resolution of escalated employee and customer concerns.
• Ensures adherence to policies, procedures and regulations.
