Job summary

ALDI invites motivated students to apply for a District Manager Internship in Wisconsin. You will observe stores from the inside, shadow managers, and complete operational projects intended to develop leadership and business acumen. Completion may lead to a full-time opportunity after graduation.

The program runs 40 hours per week for 10 weeks with a wage of $28.00 per hour plus overtime eligibility. You will gain hands-on experience in payroll, inventory, and store operations while learning

Qualifications

• In current pursuit of Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Shadows a store manager to learn store operations and to prepare presentations for ALDI executives.
• Learns aspects of the Customer Satisfaction Pyramid while conducting customer walks and store tours.
• Assists trainer with payroll, sales book, memo verification, invoices, as well as hiring, including interviews and orientations.
• Assists with inventory, and participates in a store reset and a grand opening if possible.
• Takes initiative to create excellent store conditions and improve store associate performance.
• Works closely with assigned team to develop subject matter knowledge.
• Attends company trainings and meetings as appropriate.
• Maintains a high level of professionalism by demonstrating attendance and meeting objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.
