Job summary

ALDI USA is offering a District Manager Internship designed to give real-world exposure to store operations and district leadership. You will shadow store managers, develop reports for executives, and participate in the district’s daily activities during a 10-week summer program.

Successful interns may be considered for full-time opportunities after graduation. The role runs 40 hours per week with a starting wage of $28.00 per hour plus overtime eligibility in Florida.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Shadow a store manager and/or manager trainee to learn the fundamental aspects of store operations, including preparing a presentation and a report on an operational area to be presented to ALDI executives.
• Learns and understands all relevant store operations policies and procedures.
• Assists trainer with administrative tasks (payroll, sales book, memo verification, invoices) and with hiring (interviews and orientations).
• Assists with inventory and participates in a store reset and a grand opening if possible.
• Takes initiative to create excellent store conditions and improve store associate performance and stock efficiency.
• Attends company/department/team trainings and meetings as appropriate.
