Job summary

Smith+ Nephew is seeking a District Manager for Advanced Wound Management to lead a team of account managers selling our biologic wound care portfolio in acute and nursing home settings.

You will mentor field teams, ensure optimal territory coverage, and drive performance through coaching and development opportunities. A strong background in medical sales leadership and training is essential, with travel required on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years medical sales managerial experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years medical sales with demonstrated success in complex sales processes.
• Proven ability to present concepts and recommendations to customers in formal and informal settings.
• Previous sales trainer experience preferred.
• Strong pipeline and territory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of account managers selling biologic wound care products in acute and nursing home settings.
• Ensure territory coverage and account penetration with efficient time allocation.
• Coach and develop team members through regular field rides and mentorship.
• Provide resources and guidance to overcome field obstacles and improve performance.
• Identify leadership potential and collaborate on development opportunities with AVP.
• Address performance gaps and drive continuous improvement.
