Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing seeks a District Human Resources Manager to support district field teams and implement human capital strategy. The role reports to the Area HR Manager and requires travel 30–50% within the district; NJ and NY locations include Parsippany, North Bergen, South Kearny, Elmsford, and Manhattan.

The ideal candidate will lead onboarding, talent development, workforce planning, and personnel relations while ensuring compliance with Penske policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

3+ years in HR roles (generalist/specialist/recruiting) or relevant field operations with Penske success.
Bachelor’s degree required; SHRM/HR Certification preferred.
Knowledge of employment law and regulatory issues is helpful.

Responsibilities

Lead onboarding and New Associate Experience across the district.
Coach managers on development plans and performance discussions.
Collaborate on staffing levels and recruiting strategy with district leadership.
Support associate relations and ensure policy compliance district-wide.
Prepare reports for succession planning and talent reviews.
