Job summary

Trinity Services Group Inc. seeks a District Manager to oversee food service operations across multiple sites, promoting quality, sanitation, safety, and timely service in correctional environments. You will coordinate activities across daily operations of several food service units and report to the Regional VP.

You will work onsite and remotely, coordinating with site managers and staff to meet contractual standards and health regulations while driving cost management and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Four to six years management/supervisory experience in the food service industry, preferably in a corrections environment.
• Education background in business or culinary with a focus on Finance and Accounting; 4–6 years in food service desirable; equivalent combination considered.
• Understanding of government regulations (local, state, and federal) associated with operations.
• Solid mathematical and analytical skills in financial reporting and maintaining records.
• Experience in effective oral and written communications.
• Experience maintaining files of all appropriate activities.
• Experience creating a Sales pro forma; support sales staff in pursuit of new business and retention.
• Knowledge of basic PC operations and Microsoft Office Programs.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Implement short/long term financial and operational plans supporting overall goals.
• Assist the performance of operations through verification and analysis of satisfaction systems.
• Help with and maintain a human resource function to ensure staff development to comply with labor regulations and goals.
• Ensure managers maintain inventory levels to provide quality service and compile/cost inventory for reviews.
• Ensure managers and staff prepare food on time to meet nutritional standards and health regulations.
• Ensure managers oversee the safe use of kitchen equipment.
• Ensure managers and staff are cross-trained for all locations and emergencies.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with staff, administrators, clients and public.
• Assist the Managers and other District Managers.
• Be active in associated professional organizations.
• Maintain ServSafe Manager certification.
