Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a District Director to lead 7–12 stores in the designated district and develop store leaders. You will drive sales, engage team members, and advocate for customers while safeguarding profitability.

You will coach leadership on financial acumen, merchandising, and compliance, partner with regional leadership, and ensure staffing, training, and safe operations across the district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 5+ years store management experience with multi-location oversight.
• Experience performing cost-benefit analysis.
• Knowledge of perishable and non-perishable grocery practices.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and compute discounts, margins, markups, etc.
• Knowledge of HR practices including recruiting, interviewing, employee relations, and compliance.
• Ability to operate grocery store equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead 7–12 stores in the district and develop store leaders.
• Drive store sales, team engagement, and customer advocacy.
• Coach and develop district leadership and store managers in financial acumen and operations.
• Ensure staffing, hiring, retention, and promotion of Store Managers in partnership with Regional VP.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, and forecasts; manage inventory and shrink.
• Collaborate with merchant, marketing, facilities, risk, and safety teams to execute plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety and food safety regulations across district.
