Job summary

Peet’s Coffee Inc. Alameda Roasting Plant is seeking a Distribution Team Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse operations, ensure safe receiving, storage, and shipping, and drive productivity and service goals.

You will coach a team, analyze performance data, and partner with cross-functional groups to optimize workflows, improve inventory accuracy, and develop future leaders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in manufacturing, distribution, or warehousing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven improvements.
• Ability to coach, develop, and empower teams and manage performance.

Responsibilities

• Own all safety, quality, production, cost, service and cost metrics for your area.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing warehouse team to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and service goals.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and drive process improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to improve safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, improve inventory accuracy, and meet customer service expectations.
• Develop team capability through training, coaching, and succession planning to build a skilled and self-sufficient workforce.
