Job summary

Peet’s Coffee, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Lead at the Roasting Plant in Alameda, CA. This role leads safety, people, productivity, quality and service initiatives, driving continuous improvement and ensuring FIFO and inventory controls.

You will manage a shift of 9+ associates, coach for performance, conduct reviews, and collaborate with supervisors to meet customer orders while maintaining Peet’s standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of 9+ associates.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus; strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and WMS/RFID systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, people, productivity, quality, service and inventory control initiatives on the shift.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure on-track performance; manage staffing and coaching.
• Coach associates, conduct performance reviews, and foster a positive team environment.
• Ensure FIFO and aging product disposition; maintain proper inventory practices.
