Job summary

NEFCO in Hazelwood, MO is seeking a Warehouse/Distribution Operator reporting to the Logistics Manager. You will oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatching of delivery trucks for construction materials.

The role requires 2+ years in warehousing, strong communication, ERP proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Expect 45–50 hour weeks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in industrial warehousing/distribution operations.
• Effective communicator up, down and across the organization.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Ability to use NEFCO’s ERP software system and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, picking and packing.
• Manage dispatching of delivery trucks for construction materials.
• Ensure order accuracy and quality upon loading per guidelines.
• Coordinate with inbound/inventory to minimize discrepancies.
• Lead staff to maintain a safe, clean, and productive warehouse.
• Enforce policies and administer corrective actions when needed.
• Foster teamwork to meet operational goals.
• Maintain accurate records and support ERP data entry.
• Supervise in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Operate and be recertified on warehouse equipment including forklifts.
