Job summary

NEFCO in Columbus, OH is seeking a Warehouse/Distribution Associate to handle picking, packing, and dispatching construction supply materials. You will ensure accurate orders, coordinate with the inventory team, and maintain safe, organized warehouse operations.

The role requires at least 2 years in warehousing distribution, strong communication skills, and proficiency with ERP systems. Regular hours Monday–Friday with some Saturdays; on-site work environment.

Qualifications

• Requires track record in industrial warehousing/distribution operations.
• Effective communicator up and down the organization.
• High school diploma; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders and inter-branch transfers are picked, checked and packed and loaded per guidelines.
• Ensure accuracy/integrity of orders (correct material/quantity and acceptable quality/delivery).
• Control inventory with Inbound/Inventory Manager and minimize missing items and errors.
• Process parcel shipments for customer delivery.
• Foster a motivated, high-performance work environment.
• Communicate policies and administer corrective action as needed.
• Promote teamwork to meet operational goals.
• Handle projects within area of responsibility as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse and processing areas.
• Uphold safe work practices and a safe work environment.
