Job summary

NEFCO is seeking a Warehouse Operations Associate in St. Louis to manage distribution activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatching delivery trucks for construction materials.

The role reports to the Logistics Manager and requires 2+ years in warehousing/distribution, strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays, 45–50 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in industrial warehousing/distribution operations.
• Effective communicator up, down and across the organization.
• Ability to use NEFCO’s ERP software system.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders and inter-branch transfers are picked, checked and packed and loaded per guidelines.
• Maintain accuracy of orders and quality standards for delivery.
• Work with Inbound/Inventory Manager to control inventory and minimize errors.
• Process shipments for customer delivery and ensure safe handling.
