Job summary

Nefco Corp. in Hazelwood, MO is seeking a Warehouse Operations Associate/ supervisor to manage distribution activities, receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch orders, and ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily warehouse tasks.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will lead a team, enforce safety, coordinate with inbound and inventory, and strive to meet delivery timelines while maintaining a clean and orderly facility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in industrial warehousing or distribution operations.
• Effective communicator up, down and across the organization.
• High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Ability to use NEFCO's ERP software system.
• Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook a plus.
• Must have a positive, hard-working attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with little supervision.
• Must have effective interpersonal skills for coaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders and inter-branch transfers are picked, checked and packed and loaded per guidelines.
• Ensure accuracy/integrity of orders (material/quantity/quality).
• Coordinate with Inbound/Inventory Manager to control inventory and reduce errors.
• Process parcel package shipments for customer delivery.
• Foster a safe, productive work environment and maintain standards.
• Communicate policies and administer corrective action as needed.
• Support teamwork to meet operational goals.
• Work with DC staff to keep warehouse clean and orderly.
• Operate warehouse equipment (including forklifts) and stay recertified.
