Job summary

NEFCO in East Hartford, CT, seeks a Logistics/Distribution Leader reporting to the Logistics Manager. You will oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing and dispatching of delivery trucks for construction materials.

Responsibilities include maintaining order accuracy, coordinating with teams, and enforcing safety while guiding associates to meet performance standards. Typical hours are Monday–Friday 10am–8pm, with 50–55 hour weeks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in industrial warehousing/distribution operations.
• Effective communication up, down and across the organization.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Ability to use ERP software and basic Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, picking and packing.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of orders and shipments.
• Lead staff to achieve high performance and standards.
• Review timecards and approve PTO and hours worked.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly warehouse.
