Job summary

NEFCO Corporation is seeking a distribution operations professional to oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch of construction supply materials. The role reports to the Logistics Manager and emphasizes accuracy, safety, and team leadership in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must have track record in industrial warehousing/distribution operations (2+ years).
• Effective communicator up and down the organization.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Proficiency with NEFCO's ERP software system and warehouse layouts for planning.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders and inter-branch transfers are picked, checked, packed and loaded per company guidelines.
• Ensure accuracy of orders (material/quantity/quality/delivery).
• Control inventory with inbound/inventory manager; minimize errors and cannot finds.
• Process all parcel shipments for customer delivery.
• Provide a motivating work environment with high performance standards.
• Foster communication and enforce policies; administer corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with staff to meet operational goals and maintain warehouse cleanliness and order.
• Ensure safe work practices and a safe work environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment (including forklifts) and be recertified.
