Job summary

DHL Supply Chain seeks a General Manager I - Distribution to lead warehouse operations and drive strategic process improvements across facilities in the United States. You will foster safety, productivity, and strong customer relationships while guiding a large team and optimizing performance.

Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day activities, managing vendor relationships, and presenting MB/RB reports. Strong leadership, cost control, and experience with WMS are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience, required.
• 2+ years in supply chain, warehousing or distribution, required.
• Staff management experience, required.
• WMS experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations: receiving, storing, shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes and costs.
• Lead and motivate a team of managers and staff with coaching.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, productive environment.
• Utilize WMS, automation, and technology to monitor performance.
• Manage vendor relationships and cost-effective services.
• Prepare reports on performance, inventory, and metrics.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and satisfaction.
• Responsible for site P&L and present MB/RB to customers.
