Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I - Distribution to oversee daily warehouse operations, drive efficiency, and lead a team of managers and staff. You will develop strategies to reduce costs, improve productivity, and ensure safety across the facility.

You will manage vendor relationships, analyze performance metrics, and present MB/RQBR reports to customers. A senior role with P&L responsibilities and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience with Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics preferred.
• Staff management experience required.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, coaching and developing a strong team culture.
• Ensure safety regulatory compliance and maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Utilize WMS, automation and technology to track inventory and identify improvements.
• Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance and key metrics.
