Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I - Distribution in the United States. The role oversees warehouse operations, develops strategic processes to optimize logistics, and leads a team to drive efficiency and safety.

A strong focus on customer relations and cost control will be essential to success. With a national salary range of $120,000 - $155,000, the position also offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience in 3PL and/or contract logistics preferred.
• Staff management experience.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, providing coaching and support.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and oversee site activities to maintain a safe working environment.
• Utilize WMS and automation to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Responsible for the site's P&L and report on performance to inform decisions.
