Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States is seeking a General Manager III - Distribution to lead warehouse operations, drive strategic process improvements, and deliver safe, productive performance across our facilities. This role manages P&L, vendor relations, and customer partnerships, oversees WMS usage and automation, and reports on key metrics through MBR/QBR cycles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment
• Staff management
• Experience in 3PL/Contract Logistics (preferred)
• WMS experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations (receiving, storing, shipping)
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, cut costs, boost productivity
• Lead and develop a team of Operations Managers and staff; foster strong culture
• Ensure safety compliance and a clean, efficient working environment
• Utilize WMS and automation to track inventory and performance
• Manage vendor relationships and cost-effective services per contract
• Prepare and analyze warehouse performance and inventory reports
• Maintain customer relationships and daily contact for satisfaction
• Own site's P&L influenced by customer relationships
• Prepare/present MBR/QBR to customers
