DHL Supply Chain in the United States seeks a General Manager II - Distribution to drive warehouse operations, strategy, and customer relations across our distribution network.

You will lead a team of Operations Managers, optimize processes, manage P&L, and collaborate with vendors to deliver cost-effective, safe, and productive logistics services. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and strategic leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience, required
• 2+ years experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment, required
• Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics, preferred
• Staff management, required
• P&L management, preferred
• Project management, preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, coaching and supporting to build a strong team culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and oversee operations and personnel to maintain a safe environment.
• Utilize WMS, automation and technology to track inventory, monitor metrics, and identify improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services and supplies per the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to inform decisions.
• Lead customer relationships with daily contact to ensure satisfaction.
• Responsible for the site's P&L, influenced by customer relationships.
• Prepare and present MB R/QBR to customer with strong team collaboration.
