Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager II - Distribution to lead national warehouse operations, optimize processes, and drive profitability. You will manage a team of managers and staff, oversee safety and efficiency, and maintain strong customer relationships across multiple facilities.

With a focus on strategic process development and performance metrics, this role offers significant impact within DHL’s contract logistics leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience in 3PL and/or contract logistics preferred.
• Staff management experience required.
• P&L management preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs and boost productivity.
• Lead and coach a team of Operations Managers and staff; foster a strong team culture.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Utilize WMS and technology to track inventory and performance metrics.
• Manage vendor relationships and cost-effective services; uphold the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and present monthly/quarterly business reviews to customers.
