Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I - Distribution to oversee nationwide warehouse operations, drive efficiency, and lead a team of operations managers to deliver safe, reliable service.

You will implement strategic processes, manage P&L, maintain customer relationships, and use WMS and automation to improve performance across multiple facilities. This role requires strong leadership and change management in a large logistics network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, minimize costs and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, fostering a strong team culture.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a safe, clean, productive environment.
• Utilize WMS, automation and technology to track inventory and identify improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance and inventory levels.
• Lead customer relationships and maintain strong daily contact for satisfaction.
• Responsible for site P&L and contributing to business reviews (MBR/QBR).
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews to customers.
