Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I to lead warehouse operations nationwide in the United States. This role focuses on strategic process improvement, safety, and team leadership to drive productivity and customer satisfaction.

You will oversee multiple facilities, manage vendor relations, and influence profitability through strong operations management. The position requires 5+ years of managerial experience and 2+ years in a distribution environment, with 3PL/contract logistics

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment
• Experience in 3PL and/or Contract Logistics preferred
• Staff management required
• P&L management preferred
• Project management preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• WMS experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs
• Lead and coach a team of managers and staff to build a strong culture
• Ensure safety, compliance, and efficient site operations
• Utilize WMS, automation, and tech to track inventory and performance
• Manage vendor relationships and cost-efficient services
• Prepare reports on performance, inventory, and metrics
• Maintain strong customer relationships and drive satisfaction
• Own the site P&L and influence profitability
• Prepare and present MBР/QBR to customers with the team
