Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I - Distribution to lead and optimize our warehouse operations across the organization. The role focuses on driving efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction in a fast‑paced environment.

You will manage a team of Operations Managers, implement strategic processes, monitor performance metrics, and partner with customers to deliver exceptional service while protecting the company’s profitability and reputation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing, or distribution environment.
• Experience in 3PL or contract logistics is preferred.
• Staff management experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring accurate receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
• Lead and coach a team of Operations Managers and staff, building a strong safety and culture.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain an efficient, clean work environment.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and present MBR/QBR to customers.
