NFI is seeking a Distribution Customer Service Representative in Edison, NJ. The role emphasizes prompt, courteous customer service, processing orders, and coordinating shipping while maintaining accurate paperwork and records.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma, strong MS Office skills, typing ability, and excellent written and verbal communication. Some evenings, weekends, or holidays may be required to support operations.

Competenze

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic typing.
• Experience with 10-key and shipping software (UPS/FedEx).
• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Mansioni

• Respond to inquiries and handle complaints related to work orders, invoices, shipments, and inventory.
• Process and input customer orders.
• Generate stock reports to verify product availability.
• Prepare paperwork for customer work orders.
• Coordinate urgent shipping with Traffic and Operations, expediting as needed.
• Follow up with other departments to meet service standards.
• Verify invoices and ensure accurate billing.
• Provide shipping/tracing info to customers.
• Maintain damage records and back-order logs.
• Communicate customer feedback to management.
• Liaise between warehouse and customer regarding invoicing/credit changes.
• Oversee order paperwork and maintain files.
• Maintain up-to-date procedure manual detailing processing requirements.
