Job summary

Hillebrand Gori in Edison, NJ seeks a Customer Service Rep - Dispatch to deliver day-to-day administrative and customer service support for transportation and logistics operations. You will manage inquiries, process orders and shipment documentation, coordinate with carriers, monitor movement, resolve issues, and ensure timely execution aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years in shipping/logistics/supply chain management industry/transportation.
• Experience with container drayage/port operations.
• Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel.
• Physical ability to operate a computer and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for inbound/outbound calls, emails, chats related to customer service.
• Process inquiries, orders, service requirements and complaints.
• Provide product/service information to respond to inquiries.
• Gather data, enter information and validate records.
• Coordinate with transportation providers for shipment movement.
• Review orders and shipping documents for accuracy.
• Make special shipping arrangements as needed.
• Track and fix shipping errors and prepare bills and invoices.
• Process vendors invoices and handle customer claims.
• Ensure service quality meets standards and contribute to efficient supply chain processes.
