Job summary

The Home Depot in Whitestown, IN seeks a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and influence the distribution center to run safely, efficiently and productively. You will guide a 20–30 person team, hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate hourly associates as needed, and implement goals aligned with business priorities.

You will manage processes, coaching and development, inventory control, and staffing planning, ensuring accurate merchandise handling and strong performance.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Ability to relocate.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a related field.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• 45% Managing Process: Ensure operations procedures are followed and identify changes to improve processes.
• 25% Coaching and Developing Associates: Train, coach and evaluate hourly staff and handle discipline/hiring actions.
• 15% Drives Results: Maintain inventory accuracy and monitor key performance metrics.
• 15% Business Planning: Plan staffing and production rates to align with business goals and reduce irregularities.
