Job summary

The Home Depot DC Area Supervisor leads an hourly team and influences the distribution center to operate safely, efficiently and productively. This role manages 20 to 30 hourly associates, including hiring, evaluation, development, discipline and termination.

Key responsibilities include managing processes, coaching associates, driving results with inventory control, and coordinating business planning to meet staffing and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable with experience.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a related field.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office
• Ability to relocate and work various shifts

Responsibilities

• 45% Managing Process: ensure operations procedures are followed and optimize methods.
• 25% Coaching and Developing Associates: train, coach, evaluate and discipline hourly staff.
• 15% Drives Results: maintain inventory accuracy and analyze key metrics.
• 15% Business Planning: align staffing with production plans and address irregularities.
